The story of my office starts in about 1976 when I purchased my first investment property. Over the years I purchased and brokered real estate in New Mexico until 1987 when I decided I preferred the more technical side of the business. I started as a residential appraiser and added a commercial certification in 1995. In 2005 my daughter Melissa Johnson joined my team and has taken a large role in the residential side of the business. She gained her residential certification in late 2008 and was certified for FHA work in 2009. Our company is a member of the ERC council and we work with numerous relocation companies as well as local and national lenders. I handle all of the commercial work including estate valueations, well site and pipeline easement work, eminent domain appraisals and property settlement appraisals in divorce cases.
